Carmela Demaio

Carmela DeMaio, born on September 24, 1945, in Italy, passed away on March 26, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital. She dedicated her life to her wonderful family and friends, and to church, devoting herself to god. A wake will be held in her honor at Elmont Funeral Home on Sunday, March 30th from 4pm to 8pm at 1529 Hempstead Turnpike. The following day, a funeral mass will take place at St. Hedwig's Church at 11:30 am, located at 1 Depan Ave Floral Park, NY 11001, with a burial to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury at 1:45pm. Carmella will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
