Elsie Ann Rufino

Elsie Ann Rufino was born on April 6th, 1943 to Oliver and Lucille Yearwood in Trinidad. She was the only girl and 4th child of 5 childern. She had 4 brothers, Alwin, Roderick, Charles and Horace, who have all gone ahead of her.

She met her husband, Ishmael Rufino at St. Matteus Anglican Church in Laventille, Trinidad. They courted for two years and got married December 5th, 1965. Elsie and Ishmael remained faithfully married for 53 years. Never once slept apart until her husband was hospitalized for an illness requiring hospitalization near to their 50th anniversary.

Elsie is the mother of 4 childern, Jeremiah, Wendy, Wayne and Penny all from that one holy unbreakable marriage. She is survived by her 4 children, 9 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and her dear cousin Marita with whom she grew up with. She also leaves close friends of many many years of friendship.

She believed that we are all here to choose our final forever destiny, and as she always said, choose wisely because "it's only in Jesus Christ will we have our eternal Peace."
