Gypsonn Jacotin

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Gypsonn Jacotin, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on December 5, 2025, surrounded by family and love. His heart, filled with kindness and warmth, will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Born on November 9, 1972, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, to Mariette Vilcin and the late Victor Jean Jacques, Gypsonn’s life was one of unwavering compassion, strength, and grace. From an early age, he exhibited a rare ability to connect with people and bring comfort to those around him. He carried these qualities with him throughout his life, touching the hearts of all who crossed his path.

Gypsonn dedicated over 20 years to his work as a bus driver, where he faithfully served students and the elderly. His career was a reflection of his caring nature, always putting others first and extending kindness wherever he went. His colleagues, students, and the community at large knew him for his gentle spirit, reliability, and willingness to help anyone in need.

Outside of his professional life, Gypsonn found his true purpose in his family. A devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nanzlaine, and a loving father to their children – Nianka, Nathan,Olivia, and Nicholas – he cherished every moment spent with them. His laughter, wisdom, and calm presence filled every room, providing strength and comfort to those around him. Gypsonn’s unwavering support and unconditional love for his family will be remembered always.

Gypsonn is also survived by his mother, Mariette Vilcin, his nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins, godchildren, and countless friends who held him dear. Though his journey on earth has ended, his legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will remain in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him. In this difficult time, we take solace in the memories he created the lessons he taught us, and the love he shared. May his soul rest in peace, and may his spirit continue to guide and comfort us forever.
