Muriel C Samuel

Muriel Cynthia Samuel, 82, of Springfield Gardens NY, received her angel wings
the morning of October 27th, 2020 while sleeping in her home, passing on exactly
how she’d wished.

Muriel was born on November 13th, 1938, on the Island of St Kitts, to Henry
Bowry and Mary Louise Benjamin.

She met her husband Kenneth while travelling to England to meet family
members, where he was travelling for work. They fell in love, were married in
England and lived in Nottingham, England before moving to Trinidad and
Tobago, then finally New York in 1972. They were married just shy of 50 years
before Kenneth’s passing.

Muriel enjoyed her family and was a religious woman who loved listening to
hymns and watching her favorite TV show, Americas Funniest Videos. Her
greatest joy in life was her family, and spending time with her children and
grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Anthony, Nigel and Amanda. Grandchildren:
Celeste, Avery, Tony, Maya and Kristen. Daughter-in-laws: Dawn and Andrea.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth who she has now joined in
heaven.
Muriel will be interred at Rockville Cemetery in Lynbrook, NY and her husband’s
cremains will be buried with her.
