With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Nigel Christopher Harper, who gained his wings on September 3, 2025, in Snellville, Georgia.
Nigel was born on January 29, 1965, in Sparendam, East Coast Demerara, Guyana, to the late Lindon Harper and Elsie Harper Jupiter. He received his early education at St. Mary’s Primary School and Central High School before beginning his career with GNCB Guyana. After migrating to the United States, Nigel continued his professional journey with Time Warner Cable and later the MTA.
Nigel was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Neigelle; his devoted sister, Denise (Faith); his brothers, Gary and Andrew; and his loved one, Geraldine, along with extended family and friends who loved him deeply.
Nigel will be remembered for his steadfast strength, vibrant spirit, and generous heart. His presence brought warmth and light to those around him, and his memory will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 3:00–9:00 PM at:
