With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Priscilla Lois Frazer (Bungay), who took her final bow—unafraid and with an open heart—surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, and husband on April 1, 2026, at the age of 82. She lived a life of service to those around her as a humble servant of the Lord she loved.

Priscilla is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jim; her children, Lois Frazer, Cindy (Brian) Flamenhaft, and James (Justine) Frazer; her brothers, Lawrence and Ronald; her grandchildren, Justin, Adrian, Courtney, Fredrick, Julia, Maggie, Sabrina, and Alexander; and her great-granddaughter, Lynn.

Priscilla was born on January 25, 1944, to Alfred and Gesiene Bungay. She grew up in Valley Stream, NY, alongside her two brothers, Lawrence and Ronald, surrounded by family and faith. Always creative and caring, she was a devoted daughter, sister, and wife. She shared 60 loving years of marriage with James Frazer and was a proud and guiding mother to her three children.

An artistic and creative woman, Priscilla could often be found crafting or making clothing. After graduating from Elmont Memorial High School, she attended the Traphagen School of Fashion in New York City. She met the love of her life on a blind date on New Year’s Eve, and they were later married in a quiet ceremony.

As parents of three, they moved from their apartment in Queens into her childhood home after her mother’s passing. There, she raised her family and volunteered tirelessly as an active member of the PTA, Girl Scouts, and St. John’s Church. At St. John’s, she was deeply involved with the United Methodist Women’s group, organizing fundraisers, coffee hours, dinner dances, and special events. In her retirement years, she enjoyed traveling and country line dancing.

A true passion of hers was supporting the residents and staff at the Brooklyn Methodist Home. Even as she began to slow down physically, she spent countless hours making angel pins for the residents. She found both literal and figurative “sparkle” in each day.

Priscilla was also known for her baking—creating beautifully decorated cakes and delicious Easter candy. Her grandchildren will fondly remember her chocolate-covered pretzels made for every occasion. She had only love in her heart.

Visitation (and all other services) will be held on Thursday, April 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Elmont.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a repast at Alfred E. Bungay Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brooklyn Methodist Home or St. John’s United Methodist Church.
